Winemaker Notes
Sourced from the highest elevation of the Kramer Estate, this block of Pinot Noir is grown and harvested to produce rosé wines. The fruit was picked by hand, sorted in the field, then foot crushed. After a few hours of skin contact, the crushed grapes were pressed, separating the hard press fraction. The juice settled overnight, then was racked to stainless, and underwent a cool fermentation. The wine was racked off the heavy lees post-fermentation and aged on the fine lees until bottling the following spring.
