What Makes Us Different

There's nothing traditional about how we started.
But our methods are.

🍾

Traditional Method Specialists

One of the few Oregon wineries crafting méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine entirely on-site — riddled, disgorged, and aged on our estate. We don't ship it out.

👩‍🌾

Women-Led, Family Legacy

Second-generation winemaker Kim Kramer continues the work her parents started in 1984. Her sister Becky runs the business. No outside investors. No vanity projects.

📍

Estate-Grown on This Hill

25 acres of Yamhill-Carlton marine sedimentary soils. Every bottle starts here and stays here — from vine through fermentation, aging, and bottling.

🌿

Sustainably Farmed

Salmon Safe certified. Low-intervention farming. We take the long view because we're planning to still be here in another 40 years.

1989

First estate harvest. A pharmacist and a schoolteacher with a hillside and a conviction. Forty years later, their kids are still here — and so are the vines.

A 40-Year Family Story

This isn't a
marketing story.

Winemaker Kim Kramer is currently racking, topping, and preparing new releases for spring bottling. Visit Thursday–Monday to taste what we've been working on — or join the club and we'll ship it to you.

As a women-led, second-generation winery in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, we remain committed to the Traditional Method bubbles and single-block Pinot Noirs that define this estate — and to being here for the next 40 years.

Voices from Our Tasting Room

No crowds. No rush. Just the wine.

— Jennifer M., Portland

★★★★★

"Hidden gem in the hills. Small production, big flavors, and Kim's passion for winemaking shines through every pour."

— Michael R., Beaverton

★★★★★

"This is how wine tasting should be. No rush, no performance — just exceptional wine and genuine hospitality."

— Sarah K., Lake Oswego

We specialize in Traditional Method sparkling wine — riddled, disgorged, and aged on-site — and estate Pinot Noir from single blocks. We also make Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir Rosé, Müller-Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, and Carmine. About 30–35 SKUs total.

We're one of the only Oregon wineries making Traditional Method sparkling wine entirely on-site — from estate grapes through riddling and disgorgement. We've been doing it since 2001, before it was trendy. We're also second-generation, women-led, and work with varieties most Willamette Valley wineries don't touch.
